haiku my heart ~ Pumpkin Delight

Pumpkin ~ cinnamon ~
dance together in a twirl ~
Thanksgiving delight!

Pumpkin Bread Smoothie

1 Cup Almond Milk

1/4 Cup Ice

2 Tbls Pumpkin (fresh-made or canned)

1 Small Banana

2 Tbls Shredded Coconut

4 tsp Cinnamon

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender and enjoy!

This is sooooooo delicious!

And good for you!

1) full of vitamin A, which helps eye-sight, 2) great source of fiber, 3) contains the antioxidant beta-carotene, which may play a role in cancer prevention, 4) free-radical-neutralizing powers of the carotenoids in pumpkin that may keep cancer cells at bay can also help keep the skin wrinkle-free, 5) pumpkin is another good source for potassium, 6) a source for vitamin C, and 7) I think pumpkins are just absolutely beautiful and delicous to eat and that is fact enough for me!
