Spring Lake Village Santa Rosa Labyrinth ~ Day 2

This was my first time
working with the material for the lines,
an acrylic base colored with crushed granite.
The product is called GraniTite.

It doesn't take long to harden.
Here is Robert pulling off the masking tape
that we so carefully laid down the day before...

Lars Howlett calls it "The Ferré Method"
as it was Robert who discovered
that this spray material usually used for patios and pools
would be the perfect hardy material
for the lines of a labyrinth.

The result?
This labyrinth is quite beautiful
as you can see!

This labyrinth is one of my designs, the Santa Rosa Labyrinth,
installed at the Spring Lake Village in Santa Rosa, CA
by Robert Ferré of Labyrinth Enterprises.
Lars Howlett of Discover Labyrinths and I assisted in this beautiful installation.
