On May 25th, we arrived at the rock earthwork site to see Alex checking out the second obelisk while Marc prepared concrete for the third pour.

Alex explained to Alisa about how the energy of a site like this moves…

It was fascinating to watch Marc pour the concrete. He had to make sure that it is as tightly packed as possible to prevent air-bubbles and any anomalies that will add more work to the sanding, priming and eventual painting of each obelisk.

Here is a photo that Alex took of the steel rebar that Marc created and is inside each obelisk.

After getting the bulk of the concrete in, Marc added the final bottom panel with a little open door to add the last bit of concrete.
